Nice pool area but rather small

During booking, I requested higher floor. At check in, I was told that there is one room only with two queen beds on floor four, however, that room has no windows! Only other available room is on the third floor and it has beautiful view of the mountains. The room actually had a view of the roof and the sewer pipe! Overall, the hotel needs major renovation. Room seems to have an updated furniture, but the bathroom must be 50 years old, with a mold and bathroom door all cracked and moldy from the shower. Furniture in the hotel hallways is run down, holes in the chairs and dirty carpets.

"Large, safe rooms, good gateway to White Sands NP"

The staff was lovely (even baked cookies), the room large and clean. The pool was beautiful.

You have to pull your luggage up a slope from the car park.
