"Terrible never ever again"

The property was nasty . The room was nasty. Was not cleaned at all . Shower was super gross . The check in lady was on the phone entire time while checking me in she was very rude didn’t care when I complained didn’t offer another room barely gave me a receipt to confirm my checkout I was only at property for barely an hr

Location fine the staff was horrible on 4/3 still waiting on my refund for the nasty room that hadn’t been cleaned and I took plenty of pictures

"1 Star - missing cash deposit and no accountability"

I stayed at La Quinta Inn & Suites Rancho Cordova from March 17–21, 2026, and had a deeply concerning experience. At check-in, I was required to provide a $200 incidental deposit. I had $100 on me and had to leave the property to withdraw another $100 from an ATM at the gas station up the hill. I returned and gave the front desk agent $200 in cash (one $100 bill and five $20 bills). I was told this would be refunded to my debit card. I was not given a receipt. I never received my $200 back. When I called the hotel on March 26, I was told there was no record of my payment. I was advised to call back when the employee who checked me in was working. I did so on March 31 at 11:56 AM, spoke with that employee, and was told he would look into it and call me back. I never received a call. There should be security camera footage from the front desk area around 10:00 AM on March 17 showing this transaction. In addition to this unresolved financial issue, the property itself had multiple problems: • Dirty room (greasy residue on furniture, clogged shower drain) • Strong smell of marijuana throughout the hotel • Ongoing disturbances in the parking lot at night • Safety concerns including unsecured windows on the 5th floor The only positives were that some staff were polite and the breakfast was decent. At this point, the most serious issue is that $200 in cash was accepted without documentation and is now unaccounted for. I have escalated this to corporate and expect resolution. I would strongly advise future guests to avoid providing cash at this property.

Many car packing area. A special restaurant is near the hotel and it is much easy for us.

Since we revised the schedule, we have to check out one night earlier than the plan. Still wait for final bill.

"Disappointing Experience with Serious Service and Maintenance Failures"

⸻ I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay. I left feeling extremely upset, disappointed, and frankly disgusted by the overall experience. On the second night of our stay, we were informed that our reserved room (Room 429) had been given to another guest. Our reservation was confirmed from 03/27/26 through 03/29/26 under the last name Madera, K., so this situation was both confusing and unacceptable. It created a serious concern for our safety, as well as for the security of our personal belongings. While the front desk eventually assisted us by relocating our room, the initial response we received was unhelpful and lacked urgency. Both staff members appeared unsure of how to handle the situation, repeatedly stating “I don’t know,” which reflected a lack of preparedness and resourcefulness. This significantly impacted our confidence in the level of customer service being provided. Additionally, the absence of accessible management during such a serious issue was very concerning. There was no one available to escalate the matter to, which further added to our frustration. Beyond this incident, the overall condition of the property was unacceptable. The outdoor pool area was unsanitary and clearly not being maintained, which is misleading given that it is advertised as an amenity. In Room 422, the shower head was loose and falling off. After being moved to Room 429, we encountered a strong, unpleasant odor coming from the air conditioning unit, suggesting poor maintenance. This experience was deeply disappointing and has left a lasting negative impression. It was a clear reminder that the quality of a stay should never be compromised at the expense of basic standards, safety, and service.
