"Excellent Service"

The best asset of this hotel is the amazing and service focused staff. That’s was earned our 5 star review. The shuttle drivers Ricardo and Michael L were friendly and helpful. They gladly assisted us with our luggage and tips for our stay. Service from Anthony at breakfast was the best I have experienced at any Hilton. He helped me find a table to accommodate my laptop and mad sure there was an outlet nearby if needed. When he saw that my husband was looking for fruit that had been put away he brought it to the table. Anthony was beyond thoughtful. We also had friendly and helpful service from April at the front desk. The hotel itself was clean, convenient to IAH but the rooms were dated and dark. Shockingly, the TV was old school with no streaming capability which is usually a dealbreaker for us in choosing any hotel. The room also needed maintenance- the toilet paper holder was barely hanging on the wall, the shower lever was loose and light in the entrance was going out and had a strobing effect and we had to call maintenance. While we missed the Executive Lounge that is no longer open at this hotel, we felt the staff and cleanliness made up for any shortcomings of the property. Thanks again to Anthony, Ricardo, April and Michael L for making us feel so welcome!!! You’re all amazing ambassadors of Hilton.

"Michael L was great everything else is ehh"

The only positive experience was the shuttle driver Michael L. Hotel was ok, nothing spectacular, fitness room was small, hot with no air flow but it was clean. I wouldn't use your food and beverage credit at the restaurant in the morning - $25 for breakfast including frozen waffles, Jimmy Dean style proteins and a salad bar that left a lot to be desired. To their credit they had an omelette station, however, there was an overpowering odor in the restaurant that left me unable to eat anything. It was actually nauseating. Other than that the experience was fine - Michael L tho was truly a relief because after a long day of traveling and dealing with people in the airport, his pleasant and polite demeanor was a wonderful end to an otherwise exhausting and stressful day
