Dreams Rose Hall All-Inclusive Resort & Spa

From start to finish this hotel delivered. We went for our 10th anniversary and were upgraded to an Oceanview Room. Our room was able to get really cold which was nice at night. We had a great king size bed that was very comfortable. We had a stand up shower and came with Crabtree and Evelyn Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body Wash. There was also body lotion provided. The Internet worked perfectly all around the hotel and beach. Coffee Shop One of our favorites. From their delicious iced caramel lattes to their tasty pastries and let’s not forget the ice cream offerings. Activities We loved doing the aqua exercise each morning in the main pool. The instructor was always pleasant and ready to get us moving for the day. Beach The beach was fantastic. There were warnings about sea creatures but we did not experience any. The water was the perfect temperature to just relax and float in the ocean water. You were able to stand all the way to their buoys which was a nice feature. Lazy River & Water Slides So much fun. The main water slide you need a tube and you adventure down an open slide that splashes you into the lazy river pool. There are also three small slides that flow into small pools. These were fun to have some privacy from the big pools and to enjoy the small waterfalls that accompanied them. The lazy river had some nice waterfalls and sections that dumped water on you but otherwise was truly a relaxing time. Dining Options Jerk Chicken Hut In Jamaica you must have Jerk Chicken and the Jerk Chicken Hut delivers. The wonderful staff cuts you juicy cuts of either white and/or dark meat and you can add different flavors and spicy levels of Jerk Sauce. Moonstone (Lunch) A pizzeria that serves delicious pizza ranging from Margherita, Pepperoni, BBQ Chicken, etc. Mangoes An outside sit down restaurant. They had a nice menu of different options ranging from nachos, jerk chicken quesadillas (my favorite), grilled cheese, and so much more. All of the sandwiches came with delicious and hot French Fries. Buffet Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Morning: omelettes, potatoes, etc. Lunch/Dinner: pasta station, salad station, jerk chicken, burgers/fries etc. Dinner (No Reservations Required) Rum Factory The only restaurant inside besides the buffet. The inside had very cool features where you could sit in a booth shaped like a rum barrel. The menu was delicious from chicken wings to a tasty salad and offered Fried Chicken, Rum Factory Burger and other delicious options. Seaside (Italian Restaurant) A four course meal starting with an appetizer (bruschetta, caprese, etc.) to different types of soup, different salads, and lots of dinner options (Lasagna, Chicken Parmesan, Penne, etc.) They had Tiramisu as an option for dessert plus a brownie with side of ice cream. Other Restaurants The Mexican Restaurant was not open while we were there and we didn’t try the Asian restaurant but I would imagine they would both be delicious options. Drinking We cannot comment on alcohol because we do not drink but the virgin Frozen Pina Coladas and Frozen Strawberry Daiquiris were amazing. The hotel also had fresh coconuts that they would cut for you to drink. There were plenty of bars to get bottles of water, cans of soda, and juices. Our room came with a few bottles of Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite, and Water. Towels You have to provide your room number when getting towels at the station but you can get as many as you want. We never ran into issues with not having a towel during our entire stay. Overall our stay was amazing from start to finish. We had an unforgettable time at Dreams Rose Hall and would definitely recommend this hotel to our family and friends.

The staff had no interest in helping once it was clear we weren’t interested in upselling. I booked a king ocean view and was put in a double queen room. When asked if I would be compensated I was told the hotel sold views not beds. On our last day the hotel was without electricity no a/c, I had to walk up four flights of stairs with a disability. Bathrooms didn’t work and the ones on the main floor were outfitted with flashlights. Try using the restroom without lights. Staying at this facility was a nightmare. A total waste of money. The bathroom shower walls and glass door looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. I could not sit on the chair without putting a towel on it. It was severely stained and dirty. I was told the moldy scent in the hallway was a result of the carpet being cleaned and was still drying.

Lovely impromptu staycation. Needed a reset and this was the perfect place for it. From driving through the gate to the front desk to the gentleman who took our luggage to our room everyone was so polite and knowledgeable. Beautiful grounds to do our morning walk. Lovely restaurants and the wait staff were so kind. Will definitely be back.

The proximity of the water park and food area is a plus especially when there are kids involved.

Food was disappointing. Facilities were poorly kept. They played extremely loud music in the quad from 6 to 10 pm. Way too loud. Very Ghetto
