Hampton Inn Brookhaven

The desk staff and weekend kitchen staff were very nice.

The carpets are very stained. Our room felt a bit run down. We booked the Hampton Inn Brookhaven because it had a pool, and we needed something for our kids to do during the day. We were informed it was closed for the season. It was Memorial Day weekend in Mississippi. It was a bit disappointing, especially because it wasn't announced on their website. We might have sight other options had we known.

I love the customer service and hospitality I got from Eden and the cookies she had waiting on us when we arrived. She was the best she checked on us and made sure we were good.

The sink needs to be remodeling. Nobody in my party was, please, with the sink in the corner. Not enough amenities. Had to ask for more towels our first night. Only enough for the night but not enough for in the morning .

Floor didn’t feel clean. Glaring lights through window even with blinds and curtains shut.

Pool was ready but not open in early may

First impression, hotel seems updated and hotel staff was friendly. However…the bathroom sink faucet requires you to wash your hands pressed up against the corner and usually getting water all over the counter. Somehow all of our pillow cases had brownish red stains on them. Another questionable brownish red stain on the bathroom floor. The bedsheet didn’t fit the bed and kept coming off of the corner in the night. Window shades did not block out the light of the streetlight during the night. Breakfast was about what you would expect for a low to mid hotel. We paid $168 for one room, one night. I think it was worth about $85.
