Omni La Mansion del Rio

Very nice hotel and even better location! Overlooking the river walk with lots to walk to!

Nothing!

My hubby & I stayed for four nights at the Omni. I would rate our experience as "OK". We stayed in a one bedroom suite which indicated a queen bed would be provided. It was a double. The room had been updated (bathroom, sink, fixtures, etc.) The room could use better lighting and outlet functionality. The elevators moved at a glacier's pace too. The perk of the hotel is it's quiet and a hop, skip & a jump from Riverwalk access.

Came here for my 70th birthday. The room overlooking the Riverwalk was absolutely perfect. Our son moved to Texas about a year ago and we had not been here to see him yet. I use this opportunity to come to San Antonio and stay at the Omni. It was definitely a good choice

Valet was nice

We booked a premier Riverview room, we called the day before to get assigned a room on a lower level so we could be close to river which with booking a two double bed was on level 5 which they did accommodate and that was fine. But they put us in a room that one side faced the street and one side faced the river. Not at ALL what I was expecting especially for the price we paid we were highly disappointed in it.

No breakfast, no coffee in lobby, small rooms

This is a charming old hotel with one side facing the Riverwalk in San Antonio. Lots of marble and old tile in the bathrooms, clean, comfortable beds. The hotel is built around open air pool and lounge with a number of rooms opening out to the pool area. There is a small bar inside the hotel as is the Four Brothers restaurant which has a waterfront patio dining area. The hotel is centrally located and an easy walk to the Alamo, the Briscoe Western Art Museum, Historic Market Square, etc. The staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and responsive. We especially enjoyed sitting on the small balcony watching strollers and rivers boats.
