Baymont by Wyndham Osage Beach

The rooms are very clean. Beds and pillows are comfortable

No elevators, so avoid 2nd floor. First room had loud dog(s) next door, front desk moved us to much quieter room with no delay. Beds and bedding were comfortable. Breakfast ok but attendant was sloppy and uncommunicative. Didn't use indoor pool because it had bugs and other stuff floating in it. Outdoor pool looked run-down enough we didn't bother to look at it seriously.

outdoor pool wasnt open, still green and dirty. outside property wasnt kept. horrible entrance lighting, past it one time at night. hot tub had grime after being turned on, seen brown sludge in surface bubbles like someone didnt rinse soap of their body before getting in it. stains in hallway carpet. just felt dirty.

room had a moldy smell to it as well as the smell of incense being used in the room no coffee was available for breakfast

Older building, needs outdoor maintenance with landscaping and pool. Room was clean and fine for a short stay. Breakfast was minimal but OK. Check in lady was great and very friendly.

I Walked from my room to get the Free Breakfast. I just got 2 muffins 2 yogurt and went back to my room and I was followed by the Clean up man as if I was Stealing. Why was I followed is it because I am Black.

The bed was comfortable but the mattress stained. The HVAC unit did not work adequately for the space and the room felt damp, also would not run as peogrammed to constantly fan so it would turn off and on waking me up all night. Everything is very 1980s dated and damaged, making one question the cleanliness or safety. The shower was hot and the drain drained which is good. But I could never stay at this hotel again. It's neglected, the outside pool was a green swamp and weeds growing everywhere. If I didn't know better, I would think this hotel was closed when I pulled up to it. The staff didn't correct my issues because I didn't report them but it was too late and I didn't want to move rooms and figured another room would be just as weird and problematic. I was a little shocked that this hotel was a Baymont. Not worth the price at any cost.

I checked in on Th and noticed the hallways of the motel were run down and smelled of the food that was cooked in the rooms. My room however was clean and quiet. On F my key card would not work and I had to have it rekeyed. That evening while I was taking a shower the fire alarm went off. There was the smell of burning plastic in the hallway. I was not informed of the cause. I slept that night in my street clothes in case we had to be evacuated. On Sat my key card would not work again and I had to have it rekeyed. I will not stay here again.
