Keystone Lodge & Spa, A Vail Resorts Property

Nini and the staff at the front desk are super. I had a nout with altitude sickness and they were very helpful. There is an oxygen bar at rhe lobby that was so helpful. Thank you to this team for getting me to the clinic to help me get back on the road to recovery. I truly am grateful. I also really enjoied a 50 min massage during my stay that was simply relaxing and just what the dr ordered.

Most of it. Not clean. No TV access. Expensive

Overall, this hotel was well maintained for an older building, and the room was comfortable. However in our two-night stay, we were not expecting the following to ruin our wedding anniversary trip thinking we would have a similar experience to other 4-star hotels we have been to: 1. They refused to clean our room unless we paid an additional $20 just because we spent 2 nights there instead of 3. I guess cleanliness is only a priority if they can make money off of the guest. Mind you this is in addition to the resort fees we pay per day. 2. The indoor hot tub was closed on a Saturday for cleaning (Saturday is a peak day and not appropriate for this). We planned our day around heading to the hot tub and were only notified of the closure when we got to the spa. 3. The breakfast we had at the hotel restaurant was still partially frozen. We got two different sandwhiches with cold meat and egg that was frozen in the center. Pancakes were also burnt on one side. 4. Lukewarm water in the shower throughout our stay at a SKI RESORT in the mountains. Thankfully it was not too cold this past weekend so we survived. 5. They did not have carts available for use at check out since there were only a handful available to use. Also they had robes but no slippers, so ourselves and other guests walked barefoot to the pool/spa if we did not bring sandals. I just don’t think they are well equipped. I will give kudos that all the staff we encountered were pleasent and welcoming. They could not “go against policy” for some of the above things we brought up, but at least were nice about it. Unfortunately would not be going back to this hotel that charges full price for a 2-star exprience.

The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet.

The beds are softer than I like but still quite comfortable. This year Keystone parking changed and was not included with our stay. The town now charges overnight fees and while you get a discount, it is for only one car.

Staff was incredibly friendly and it was a beautiful property to just sit and relax in various places and take in the sites. The little patio in our room was an unexpected bonus

It’s not very sound proof. There was a vending machine and a microwave for everyone’s use. Hearing the microwave beep all throughout the night was annoying and can hear everything happening in room next door even though they were being noisy. Like literally could hear their pee hit the toilet water

The gentleman that checked us in was fantastic Spa is great Clean rooms
