"Not enough bang for the buck -"

The Seelbach is beautiful with a lot of history and stories to tell - which I loved - but the price they are charging for the stay is for that and location. It's convenient to everything which I liked, but $900 for 2 nights - my room was much smaller than I thought it would be, the bathroom is a broom closet, and no washcloths?? I wouldn't stay here again, but only because you can get better offerings for the same or less cost elsewhere. I truly don't have any strong complaints, and I know the economy is wild these days, but when my breakfast got brought up in a plastic bag from the downstairs store? Nah, I'm good.

"Historic Stay"

Overnight in Louisville and chose this hotel based on a friend’s recommendation. Lovely historic location with beautiful public spaces and nicely appointed rooms. We enjoyed a drink in The Old Seelbach Bar-arguably the best Old Fashioned I have ever enjoyed. Breakfast is available in the Gatsby Room; we checked out early and missed that opportunity.

"Great Location on 4th Street!"

Great old hotel with modern amenities. Great modern gym with all your needs. Very pleased with the accommodations. Great bed, pillows and room met my expectations. The bar, restaurant, customer service all exceeded my expectations. I would recommend for any type of travel. The architecture was amazing! Loved the woodwork throughout!

Breakfast buffet and service was great. The rooms are a bit dated as it is a historical hotel so just know that going in. We enjoyed walking down to 4th Street to see what all was going on.
