Courtyard by Marriott Anchorage Airport

The Courtyard was conveniently located right at the airport and provided accomondation for one night pretty much as expected. The shutttle was available early morning, the rooms were clean and the decor modern and pleasant. It was a typical moder Marriott Courtyard.

It was a perfect stay for one night as we prepared to head to our cruise ship the next day. The location is close to airport, clean, Starbucks team was very friendly and food was perfect for breakfast. Room was clean, efficient and just right after a long flight.

Appreciated the helpful shuttle drivers and the check in staff were wonderful too. Bed was very comfortable, room was quite clean.

Convenient to airport

People were nice but everything else stunk.

Where do I start.....had to Uber over as the property never answered multiple messages. I called 10 times but their phone was not working trying to find out about their shuttle. Waited 20 minutes hoping to see it but nothing came. Then the room they said I could check in early to wasn't available until 3. I had to go to work and come back late and then was told they were booked so I got a first floor room. Single female travelling so I don't prefer. Luckily I checked the window as I found it unlocked. Shower head is for short people (I'm only 5'10" and it was too short) and the breakfast was horrible!

This hotel was a very poor example of a Courtyard, with everything cheap except the outrageous rate. There was an ice machine that had been dismantled, and it appeared to have been in that condition for quite some time, as it was wrapped in yellow construction tape, and the same tape blocked off the entrance to the machine. There was only one elevator, and its inspection was two months out of date. The Bistro had no bar and a limited food selection. The pillows were of poor quality, and the overall hotel was cheap in every way but the rate.

Hotel was very clean. Close to the airport. Bed was very comfortable. They had a small coffee stand inside the hotel with good coffee, lattes, etc. They have a freezer if you need to store fish, however there were not able to accommodate us on the night the we stayed so we had to take our boxes to the airport to store it which was $24/box per night. Overall, we would stay again if we had to. Wish it hadn't of been so expensive ($500/nt). Definitely wasn't a $500/nt type of area or room.
