"A gem in the garden district"

This hotel was located in such a great spot to conveniently catch the street car and walk to restaurants. I was very happy with the cleanliness and the friendly staff. Breakfast was very tasty, and I look forward to visiting again.

We were in town to visit Tulane and this place was a 15 minute ride on the streetcar which was very convenient. We were right on St. Charles Avenue between Tulane (Uptown) and the French Quarter, so we rode the street car many times as it was right out front. This hotel was fine-clean, friendly staff, decent breakfast and nice to have the pool-we went for a couple evening swims. (August was a hot time to be in NO)

This hotel was not very pretty. It could use some new carpeting on the second floor. Our room was dark and the view from our room wasn't great either-an empty plot of land with a chain linked fence around it.
