Hampton Inn New Orleans-St. Charles Ave./Garden District

LOVED the location but checked in at 12 pm to broken pipes which they said would be repaired by 3 pm as no bathroom or shower access-at 630 pm still no water and door to room locked me out with my small dogs inside so maintenance had to come remove lock so finally decided had to move to another hotel-in the dark with no idea of area and ended up downtown in awful place-whole trip ruined and they still charged me $75 pet fee

notification sooner that no water issue would be long term, no pet fee charge as wasn't even in room that long

My husband and I decided to do a day trip to New Orleans and chose Hampton Inn. It was the perfect spot. We walked to everything- drinks, dinner, etc. The hotel staff greeted us and even help me sign up to be a rewards member. The room was so spacious and comfortable.

Loved it all.

Le lit est très confortable ! Le secteur est idéal juste en face d'un tramway. L'hôtel nous a sauvé la vie.

I loved the big room, bed, and amenities. I was surprised with how wonderful the room was. It came with a very large room and bed. It also included a couch and many nice tables to hold my belonging. I was also exited about the jet/spa bathtub! The room is what won me over. I had had a bad experience with this hotel up until I had seen the room.

The website I booked the hotel with said that it included free parking and when I checked in the parking was an additional fee. I ended up parking on the street in principle. It was late when I finally checked into the hotel and the front door was locked and there was not an easy or clear way to get the attention of the front desk associate. I was forced to pound on the front of the door to get her attention.
