Hotel Indigo Atlanta Midtown by IHG

Great location, very walkable.

Building is obviously old. There’s a lot of minor issues with paint and what not. Not terrible though.

Excellent, close to theatre and restaurants

Smallest bathroom ever but it worked.

Beautiful, clean, and great location. The staff were friendly, and the bar in the lobby was great. However I would probably not stay here again. I usually sleep better in a hotel than I do at home, but I slept so horribly here. The bed was too firm and I could hear every. single. sound. from the streets outside. They did provide ear plugs which was a nice touch, as I know they can’t really help the sounds. However I can’t sleep with ear plugs either. I’m a diva. Also the bathroom was shockingly tiny!! They apologized for it at check in but even after that I was shocked how small it was. It would’ve been impossible to share this room with anyone but my husband, because there isn’t even room in the bathroom to change clothes. I don’t think there’s really anything they can do to improve the “issues” but these are just things I’d want to know before deciding to stay here or not.

Beds were very comfortable, I would have liked a little bit firmer pillow. The bathroom was very small however I'm not used to being in the city. The staff was extremely friendly and personable. Despite having a glitch in our reservation, the gentlemen at the front desk was pleasant and able to accommodate our needs. He made wonderful dining recommendations to us as well. Even when we were checking out, he asked us how the show was the night before. The staff at the Bistro were also very friendly and they too made wonderful dining recommendations for us for breakfast the next morning.

There was an issue with my reservation which I had made through Booking,com. I had requested 2 rooms, however only 1 had actually been reserved. The gentleman checking us in was very helpful and was able to see my original request and confirmation. He was able to get us a 2nd room. I was a bit surprised to see the significant rate difference between the two rooms. I was not made aware of this difference until I was able to check my email well after we had already left the hotel.
