Hotel Patan House - Durbar Square

Really nice location. Beautiful traditional style building and room. A nice, quiet room. Strong shower pressure with hot water too. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room had good amenities.

I had a front and rear balcony, but neither were very comfortable to sit at. The one on front was very small and right next to the AC unit, overlooked by many other windows. But it did receive the sunshine. The rear was larger and quieter, but out of the sunshine and directly across from somebody else's window. They both felt a little too exposed, but I suppose it's still nice to have. Not sure it's worth the extra money though. I barely used them due to the stated reasons. The only other minor downside was that the breakfast was a short 5 minute walk away, however, it had a very nice atmosphere in the garden area and I enjoyed the breakfast.

I just want to say a huge thank you to the staff at this hotel for making my friend's stay so lovely. The receptionist was so sweet to my friend who has Autism - he can't usually stay still for very long and so wanders around a lot - the receptionist was kind and welcoming and even showed him where the shops were so that he could go and buy items as he was afraid of a dog around the corner. The hotel itself is completely gorgeous, with the best shower that we had all trip. It's really luxurious and I was blown away by the look of the rooms. The rooms are on the square so I expected noise, but we all slept really well. The hotel has old, narrow steps so just be aware of that if you are tall like my friend! Communication was brilliant and they were super helpful in all aspects. I really recommend this place to stay and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much!

The location near the centre of Patan is great. It is also in a inner courtyard, so very quiet. Close to a bank and several shops, also very good restaurants in the area.

This beautiful boutique hotel offers traditional Newari charm in the heart of Lalipur, just a short walk to Patan Darbar Square. The reception staff were friendly and super helpful and the room just full of character. Loved it. Breakfast is served offsite with a limited selection but does the job. Characterful, welcoming and convenient. I would happily stay here again.

This is a very small boutique hotel a few minutes walk away from the historic Patan Durbar Square. Steve, the front desk person made sure that my stay and experience at the hotel and Nepal in general was exceptional. Examples include, assisting in getting transportation out of Kathmandu and answering lots of questions. Murray

It’s located really in the historical heart of Patan, a 2 min walk to Durbar Square. Breakfast served in a close location was amazingly tasty. Staff is great, super willing to support and assist.

The room located under the roof would need some renovation, especially the bathroom that is quite worn out. Cleanliness could be improved.

The service was excellent. They staff was kind and helpful. And also the exotic architecture was amazing !
