Clean room. Comfy bed. Hot breakfast. quiet night's sleep. Friendly staff.

Location was really the only good thing.

When we first got to room it was like 80 degrees in room. Cut thermostat back to 67 and was gon fi about 4 hrs and was still way to hot. The bathroom was really small and the springs on bed i had was gone in the middle felt like I was sleeping on the floor. Then we got up to go to the gym and it was lock could not get in. So then we preceded to eat breakfast and the line was stopped because they was out of food had to go up the street to get breakfast and there was not enough seats for people eating breakfast. That's why I get a hotel with breakfast so I don't have to go out and get it.

We stay here often for swim meets. The staff are always super kind. Hotels in LYH can be exorbitant and we feel this hotel is always at a decent price point. We even stayed here during a snow storm in early December and the parking lot was cleared really quickly.

Fixtures are dated and sometimes a little dusty

One of the most basic things I look for is good water pressure and drainage in the bathtub/shower. Both of these were great. The bed was also very comfortable.

This is a very minor issue, but there was only one bar of soap on the hand sink... none in the shower.

Breakfast was good. The second day breakfast was a little different from the first day, so there was variety. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean and a decent size. There was no ick, what did we get ourselves into feeling.

The room had a stale odor when we came into it with a faint odor of something to "sweeten" the odor. I don't know if it was because they booked us into the pet-friendly room space or not, but that's what I think. It got better when we put the A/C on continuous fan. So I would avoid the rooms they use for pets unless you have one. The bathroom is small and antiquated with a tub instead of a walk-in shower. But I knew that from the photos ahead of time.
