Quality Inn St Augustine Historic District Area

I could not expect better for the price I paid for the room. But it was good.

What I did not like was, when I got there, to be asked to pay for parking. I almost had a full blown argument with the desk clerk. I thought that after booking through you that my cost was final. This is disrespectful to the customer. If you don't fix this now, with all due respects, I will report you and the Inn to the better Business Bureau. Also, what was not nice was you telling me that my booking was non refundable. I can excuse that, though, because you told me of it up front and it would be my choice. But to be surprised with additional fees after is disingenuous. Please, let me know very soon what will be your response to this grave situation that threatens you and the Inn's reputation. I will book elsewhere until you tell me how you will fix this problem. I thank you for your attention to this matter! Wallace Tulloch

Not much

Landscaping made it look like it might be out of business. Vending machines, or whatever they were, had ‘out of order’ signs on them; I was very surprised that you had an ice machine. Probably the worst layout of a parking lot I’ve ever seen; I hated coming in and leaving. What a mess!

Breakfast was GREAT! Value of the stay was GREAT! The building is dated, but very well taken care of and it adds to the old town charm of the city. Staff was very nice. The pool was very clean and fun.

Not much we didn't like. The breakfast staff did start cleaning up a little early. Rooms are small, but comfortable.

Dog park was great. Lovely grounds. The breakfast was good.

It seemed to be in transition with drink machines out of order and several areas closed.

Clean and great location. Big pool too.

Scratchy towels and they charge for parking separately from the room cost, which is unnecessary. I’d understand if we had more than one car, but we didn’t.

Very friendly staff. We arrived very late and they were accommodating. Very clean, good breakfast and a great value for the money. So close to everything. This is the old style motel I grew up with. It’s been nicely updated! I would definitely stay again.

Pet friendly but WILL charge you even if it’s approved ESA animals!

We always travel with 2 ESA approved dogs and this is the first hotel ever charging us $25 per dog/per night! So beware.

Comfortable for the price. It's all about value, and they achieve that.

Rooms felt a little jaded.
