Location is not bad. Close to cafes looking like local area. Clean. Friendly host.

But I can’t say the location is good. It’s far from the station, not close to the center of downtown. In addition, around that property is dark at night. As a solo female traveler, didn’t feel comfortable at night. A more serious problem is the room. That single room doesn’t have a proper door, really. Half of the door(like something) is a milky window with also milky white curtain. The room is so visible from the outside. Especially while turning the light at night! And the room is just next to the front door, without a door that normal room have. It can not keep privacy at all! So I couldn’t turn on the light, and I talked to the host about that problem, he just said like it’s no big deal.. “Nobody looks into your room. No problem” How does he take money for a room without a proper door??? And the bed is too small. I am a skinny woman, my height is only 166cm, still when I lay on the bed, my foot touched the board of the end. It’s the first review of the hotel in my life. That single room(did I say room???) was that ridiculous.

Very friendly host, good communication, good breakfast, air conditioning, comfy bed, clean room.

Comfortable room with amenities, great location from Trieste train station and city center, private bathroom, breakfast. Highly recommend Punto8.
