ANA InterContinental Beppu Resort & Spa by IHG

Our stay at this resort was immaculate. Upon arriving at the hotel, staff promptly came out to take our luggage to our room and chauffer our car to a separate parking lot, all included in our stay. I decided to splurge here for me and my girlfriends anniversary and it was worth every single penny! Everything from the impeccable service to the beautiful interior and lobby was spotless and breathtaking. Instead of checking in and out at a front lobby near the entrance, guests are ushered into a separate lounge provided with refreshments. The staff assigned to us was professional and yet friendly and down-to-earth, assuaging the initial discomfort me and my girlfriend had at being unaccustomed to such high-class service. Soon we were in a pampered and relaxed mood, as expected of such a high class resort combined with Japan's famous hospitality omotenashi. Soon we were brought to our suite, which was absolutely incredible. The interior was spotless, the bathroom spacious and beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were perfect, everything from the surround sound in every part of the room to the dimmable lighting. Last but not least, the view from the balcony overlooking the Beppu coast was a priceless sight we will never forget, especially when combined with our heavenly private onsen bath. I will most certainly be back one day to relive this 5 star experience. Look no further for the pinnacle of private onsen resort relaxation than this hotel!

Room is small but expensive

호텔은 현대적이고 깨끗합니다만 언덕위에 떨어져 있는 위치 때문에 차가 없으면 걸어서 갈수 있는 레스토랑이 없으며, 호텔에는 레스토랑이 단 두곳이라 선택의 범위가 적었습니다. 또한 주변에 산책할수 있는 곳이 없습니다. 온천물은 좋았고 시설은 좋습니다

Pillows pillows… there should be more selection of different types of pillows and it would have made our stay a really enjoyable one.

- 바다와 어우러진 멋진 도시풍경을 바라다 볼 수 있는 우아한 호텔로 룸이 넓고 안락한 구조로 구성되어 있음. - 벳푸시내와 동떨어져 있지만 호텔에서 제공하는 셔틀차가 있어서 예약을 통해 편안하고 유용하게 벳푸시내와 호텔을 오고 갈 수 있음. - 온천을 즐길 수 있는 사우나가 잘 갖추어져 있음. - 직원들 모두가 친절함. 특히 한국인 직원(Mr. Choi)이 상주해 있어서 벳푸관광정보와 친절하고 상세한 안내를 받을 수 있었음. - 호텔룸을 지정받는 것에 따라 차이가 있겠지만 호텔룸에서 사우나로 이동하는 경로가 복잡하고 불편하였음. - 호텔주변에는 아무런 산책공간이나 시설이 존재하지 않음. 버스로 이동시 하차정류장부터 호텔로 오는 경로는 낮과 밤 모두 위험함. 특히, 어두워지면 아무것도 보이지 않아 대단히 위험하기 때문에 사용하지 않는 것을 추천함. - 호텔조식식사의 음식이 정결하나 메뉴가 거의 바뀌지 않기 때문에 2박 정도가 적당함.
