The location was great with only a short walk to Kumamoto Castle, the host was very friendly and quick to reply to messages. She met with us at an earlier time than we originally arranged as we arrived early. Parking across the road was easy and free, and the house had a great style to it.

"Large Japanese style living space"

Spacious arrangements with enough beds for family of four. Near restaurants and laundromat. Very helpful host. Good location to visit castle. You can drive up and park.

Front is on busy road. I did sleep ok with ear plugs. Parking across road. Use GPS coordinates. Balcony very fun but over road. Watch bicycles and cars.

Lovely comfortable place well located. The owner is very nice. The information book she made is very useful. We went to one of the recommanded restaurants and it was really good.

The place is noisy because of the main road located below.
