Quality Inn Milan-Sandusky

Black mold on bathroom wall. Used bar of soap left in shower. Dirty floors. Running toilet all night.

We stayed at this property for three nights and, unfortunately, had several disappointing experiences. To begin with, the exterior doors to the buildings remained unlocked throughout our stay, raising serious safety concerns. Additionally, basic cleanliness standards seemed to be lacking. The floors were never mopped during our visit, and housekeeping only serviced the room once in three days. Communication with the front desk was also a challenge—calls often went unanswered, and any requests were met with minimal assistance. For instance, the provided toiletries included only mini bottle of shampoo and conditioner (aprox 2oz. each max) which is entirely insufficient for two adults over a three-day stay. The room itself showed signs of neglect, including a noticeable presence of spiders. It was also clear that the property is outdated. Photos posted online appear to be decades old and do not reflect the current state of the hotel—especially the pool area, which looks worn and poorly maintained. We were told the outdoor pool and jacuzzi were closed, yet guests were still using them. When we brought this to the attention of the front desk, there was no response or concern. The jacuzzi in particular was dirty and not in usable condition. Breakfast was extremely basic, consisting only of waffles, yogurt, coffee, and juice—bare minimum for what is advertised as an amenity. On a positive note, the front desk staff was generally polite, but nothing out of the expected.

Quality inn was an inn without quality. no fresh fruits as promised not enough supply for breakfast only waffles not even a bread jam broken wirings of electricity in room tv not working no carpet on floor dirty floor

Staff was super nice, I would stay again Waffles in the morning were good

Hot tub was closed. Small and uncomfortable pillows. Juice machine out of order and breakfast was very simple continental. Wouldn't allow early checkout. Staff was nice on checkin

The pictures of the breakfast area show many food options, counters full of food options. Reality was a waffle maker, yogurt, two kinds of cereal and lots of empty counter space.

A little outdated- breakfast sucked

The swimming pool and hot tub was closed do to pumps being broken 😞

Liked the price and the pools but breakfast could. E better

Hotel only had double beds or king and no cots. Not ideal for traveling with small kids. Floor was dirty in our room and there was no metal in the door jam or additional lock on the door. The outdoor pool had a garden hose in it because of a large leak and the pool and hot tub indoor smelled like a wet dog. Breakfast selection was also super sad. Not worth the $200 a night we paid .
