"The location was the greatest plus point."

Location. Breakfast was very good.

Room and bathroom very small. Swimming pool too small for the amount of guest using it. Entrance to the lobby very small with no parking. The coffee machine in the room didn’t work. Staff cleaning the rooms not friendly.

"Disappointing experience inside and out"

It is well located right on the rail line with easy access to the better parts of Calgary,….. the lady at check in was clearly having a bad day , like she was going out of her way to help us , other staff were friendly enough . The room was a decent size and appeared clean , but i was itching both nights and woke up with a rash all over my back ….moxies was a good experience with great staff and food… The worst part , and no fault of the hotel, was the homeless and severely drug affected people in the hotel precinct. I have personally never seen anything like it , and it was disturbing, don’t venture over the road to maccas or Tom hortons…..Tony.A

Comfortable room in an ok location, accessible to CBD and fringe points of interest. Restaurant offered a range of enjoyable food and beverage offerings, and 'day of the week' deals.

Calgary itself is an ok city but for the unfortunate predicament of the homeless and drug use. Around the Sandman it sadly appeared prevalent.
