When we walked in the property, it is dark and dirty. I got a room on 2nd floor and the elevator didn't work. I had to use the stair. While we walked up the stair the carpet from the stair to the hall way were disgusting. It was dirty and stinky. The setup of the hotel is definitely not La Quinta Hotel. All the rooms are outdoor. Like a motel. When we walked in the room. The room was dark, stinky. The bathroom was small and had so much water on the floor. We walked out that room right the way. We went down to the front desk. The first thing they asked me was "was anyone in there?" (Red flag). We explained the problem to them. They agreed to check us out. They said they couldn't refund us bcz we booked through Expedia. They said we have to contact Expedia. Then Expedia will call them to confirm that we check out. They refused to give us any receipt or any proof of us checked out. After we contacted Expedia regarding to the refund. The hotel told Expedia that we changed our mind bcz the room was small not due to the poor service. They refused to refund back to us. Expedia also didn't help to refund even though we booked through them. Overall, i do not recommend to booked through Expedia and you should stay away from this Hotel. My hold experience was horrible.

"Worst experience"

Piss stained room, sheets had stains on them, feces were left uncleaned on the toilet. The air conditioning didn’t work, the room seriously was overwhelmingly smelling like urine and feces.

I checked out early. Fire alarms were either missing or not hooked up. Floors and overall cleanliness was terrible. The whole property needs lots of fixing.

"DON’T STAY HERE, the price says it all"

We checkout after less than 30 and this included changing rooms. The hotel was advertised to have EV parking, several lights in the room didn’t work ands we couldn’t get the A/C to turn on. Same problems in the new room we were put in, not to mention yelling rowdy pot smoking other guests right above us. I’ve stayed in some crappy places fire just a night but no A/C did it for me. The front desk person was polite but clueless and couldn’t answer simple questions like where was the EV parking advertised ands if the Denny’s right next door was open 24 hours. I was also not refunded the whole amount paid for the room so I will be calling my credit card company to file a compliant.

"Waste of money at this hotel so keep going"

I only gave this hotel one star. It was Mardi Gras and I spent $300 for one night. It was totally unacceptable. First room had stains on pillow and on bed spread. Requested to be moved to a new room. Second room had more problems than the first one including stain in ltub, bathroom door did not function properly, alarm click didn't work. I had to be at airport in 5 hours and didn't have time to find another hotel. Slept on top of covers in my clothes. Left message for manager to call me and two days later no call. Don't waste your money to stay here.

Was allowed to check in early if I did not go to the room which is what I wanted. Took Uber to parade and when we got back in at 7:00 to having issues opening the door. Once we got the door open the room had never been cleaned. Bed still had dirty sheets and the bathroom was a complete mess. Had to go to the front office and they had to find me another room. This place has gone down since the last time I stayed there.

Customer service was wonderful. Room was absolutely filthy. No grab bar in shower. No clock in room. Mildew behind nightstand. Trash under the beds. Room keys did not work. Secondary door lock did not work.
