Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront

I know this sounds crazy but I love the adjustable height hand held shower. The way you could change the height. I could shower as a short person without wetting my hair. I also loved the Starbucks!

The bed was great but I am a fan of just a tiny bit softer. Was not bad though.

We just returned from a two night stay at the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront. We've been Hilton customers for over forty years. First, the good. The hotel is oceanfront and has a very nice beach with very nice views from the oceanfront rooms. During season the prices are pretty high at least on weekends but we knew that going in and the price is fair enough given that the room came with a free breakfast buffet with Honors status. Unfortunately, the oceanfront rooms have neither balconies nor windows that can be opened. Its not a huge issue. The rooms are smallish but functional and comfortable. Our tv did not work at check in but was fixed quickly. When we checked in we noticed that our room had only one had towel and no wash cloths. It did have two bath towels so we did not bother asking for more as we assume housekeeping would refresh the room the next day. OOPs, bad assumption. The next day, our only full day, when we returned from the beach at noon we noted the room had not been refreshed and we had no towels or wash cloths. We called the front desk and were informed that housekeeping would be along eventually. Ok, it was noon. We left and came back at a bit before four. No service, no towels or wash cloths and no on from housekeeping anywhere in sight. We called the front desk again and were told that housekeeping worked until five. My spouse set off to find a housekeeper who could give us some towels so we could shower for the evening. She found one but was informed that they (the hotel) were out of towels but that the laundry might get some done. At about 5:30 we spotted a housekeeper on our floor and pleaded with her to do our room. Bless her, she did. This whole scenario was inexcusable given the very high price (or any price ) at a major brand hotel. The food at the bar/restaurant we pretty bad. Literally the worst key lime pie we ever had and as Floridians we have had many. The whole hotel seems understaffed . The staff were nice and tried hard but the management bench must be a tad thin. Verdict: Needs work. For now you can do much better for the price.

Unfreundliches Personal während des Aufenthaltes und danach. Meine Kreditkarte wurde nochmals belastet, ohne das ich eine Rechnung dafür erhalten habe, wegen einer bereits stornierten Buchung. Meine Anfragen wurden ignoriert. Erst als mein Buchungsagent nachfragte, bekam ich eine Antwort und das Geld zurück. NIE WIEDER !

Hotel is clean, and beach front. Staff is very friendly throughout; guest services and tiki bar/grill. We do have an issue with a noisy vent that the engineering team fixed. Hotel is not too far from all things Cocoa Beach. Turning left on A1A is not easy and can be dicey. Pool is heated which was especially nice considering it was very chilly for most of our stay…. 🥶😆 not ideal; we made the best of it.

Check in on Saturday evening was by a disinterested lady although all other reception staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful. Wasn't acknowledged as a Diamond member not was an upgrade mentioned. NO free breakfast for Diamond members but a $15 credit towards a $30 breakfast. The erosion of HH benefits continues in the US but not in Europe where fully free breakfast is the norm. We had breakfast on day 1 but it was poor quality and poor value so we went out on subsequent days. Room was spacious, clean and well appointed but not worth $400. Bar area is nice with a great vibe and pleasant staff. Wifi kept dropping out and didn't work at all in our room which made working impossible.
