The location is great, right on the lake with a lovely little collection of paths. A short walk to the visitor information center, and downtown.

Parking is a little expensive at 35/day. We had limited time in the hot tub as the maintenance kicked us out so they could reduce the chlorine levels.

My partner was here for a conference and I tagged along. We were stoked to be upgraded to a suite in the north wing that overlooked the water. At check in we were also given bottled water which was a nice touch after our air travel. The suitewas well appointed and in good repair. We agreed the bed was the softest we’d slept in in awhile but was still comfortable. We both made use of the spa facilities and were a bit surprised that it couldn’t be billed to the room. Because we came in late October there was no resort fee. However looking at the things included for the fee, it appeared to be a good value.

A little too big for our liking

The location at the city center right next to the lake is awesome. Breakfast was good.

There was no parking available even though the reception staff offered us a parking space (and charged us for it). We had to circle the parking house all the way and get back to reception to ask for other parking options, losing 30 minutes unnecessarily. The breakfast was a bit chaotic. No one to show us to the table. Then it was difficult to get drinks - when I asked a waiter, they told me they won't help me and I have to wait at my table for my specific waiter, and eventually they only brought the tea when we were almost finished with our meals. There was just one bath robe in the room for three people, so we had to walk from the pool through the hotel lobby in wet swimsuits, which was awkward. Given how unhelpful the reception staff was, we chose not to ask for more bath robes. The room was supposed to have pool view, but it was facing a parking garage 4 stories tall right in front of the window. Overall I would expect more given it's quite expensive hotel. Not a great value for money spent.
