Walk to town was easy

Motel is old and tired. An attempt to do a make over is mediocre. It's a very basic motel

At least it was clean and the room was warmed up quickly.

It was disappointing that nobody was at the reception when we arrived at around 6pm, and we had to call their number to check us in while the property said the reception opened till 8pm. We were out in the very bad reception countryside and their calls never reached me. Our booking was already paid and I would have appreciated that the somebody was there so that we did not have to wait for them to come back to the motel or worry about that we were unable to check in for the night at first. I found the electric blanket plug was hurtng my back on the bed and I believed it had been placed in a wrong way and the plug was visibly exposed under the fitted sheets, not hidden under the electric blanket. It will do as cheap accommodation but I am not intending to stay there again if I can avoid it.
