Travel Place Lyon

I was traveling with my wife and my father and his wife, we chose a 2 bath, 2 Bedroom apartment which was perfect for us. The master bedroom was a corner room with A/C and private Bathroom. The room is pretty big and has decent queen size bed, the other room is pretty small with 2 small single beds, which is perfect if your traveling with kids. For me was bit uncomfortable but I didn't mind. There enough closet space to put your stuff. Having 2 bathrooms was great , the showers had good water pressure and hot water. I went in October, it was still cool outside and we didn't need the A/C during the night. The apartment in general had a good space and had a decent size kitchen. We were in the 15 th floor , there was a great view of the Andes. The building itself is localized in busy street ,so there could be some issues with noise, if your sensitive to this issue. The building is well kept and the elevators are in good condition, there is 24 hour employees at the lobby, and there some control at the main entrance door. The building has great location, you have supermarkets, malls, restaurants, Metro station, Starbucks and even 24hour Mc Donald nearby. I was bit concerned about not having concierge available , but Mr. Francisco Fuentes the condo hotel manager gave me all the information we needed and helped us contact private drivers which gave us private city tours and day tour to Valparaiso and Vina del Mar at a reasonable price. (you have to make the deal with the driver). The building has a nice terrace at the roof with a beautiful view at night. The laundry,gym, and pool are localized at the roof. You need a key and coins to use the laundry, both can be obtained at the lobby. Have a great time at Santiago..

Stayed here with 4 friends and myself = 5 total. We got a 2 bedroom apartment and 1 took the fold out couch. It was great! Having the kitchen and the market just around the corner allowed us to try out our cooking skills with local fresh cuisine. Showers were awesome and even with 5 people never had an issue with lack of water pressure or hot water. Bed were very comfortable, although taller people may have some issue with second bedroom accommodations as they are twin sized beds with footboards. Kitchen came fully stocked with cookware and dishware but no dish soap... Metro station was across the street as was the mall and currency exchange. Lots of Banks/ATMs in the area too. Great restaurants, great shopping, great pisco sours. Someone at the front desk 24 hours a day to let you in/out. Be forewarned that most of the staff doesn't speak English at all, but there were incredibly helpful in playing charades with my friends who spoke didn't speak Spanish. Of course it was noisy around the area - it's a city that doesn't have a "last call". Fantastic!! Am already planning another trip back to Santiago to stay at Travel Apart.
