I have stayed here previously when visiting family who live close by. It may be a bit basic, but, that said, it is very good value for money, although the price has gone up quite a bit since I stayed here last year. The bed was comfy, the shower worked fine. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was suitable for what I needed for 1 night. I have no hesitation is staying here again in the future. The location is great, with a Sainsbury supermarket just across the road. The Poachers pub adjacent serves good food, including breakfast, at very reasonable prices.

Just a small thing to note. There was only 1 complimentary coffee sachet but I always take my own coffee whenever I travel anyway so not too much of a problem. But, there was no teaspoon! I used the end of my toothbrush to stir my drinks! Yes, I could have asked reception but I was only there 1 night and did not spend that much time in the room anyway.
