Glad for cuppa tea

Quiet, shower great.

No hairdryer. Would have been nice to have heater in room

The room was warm and clean and we had the bathrooms to ourselves which was a bonus. The manager was very helpful and cheerful.

I believe it used to be a rest home and still has that vibe but it was actually quite novel in the end and made for lots of laughs when we told our friends where we were staying!

Staff is accommodating. The place is beautiful with large garden and plenty of parking space. For the price, it is great value for money.

It is bit cold but we had cold snap that week.

Good location, close to the main drag but still far enough away to be nice and quiet. Lovely, comfortable accomodations and common areas. Check in was great with good communication from the host.

My only complaint was that the walls were a bit thin and I could hear early morning risers in the bathroom. Shared bathroom facilities won't be for everyone either but there were ample toilets and showers so no issues.

The lodge was not up to expectations at all. The manager was rude, difficult to talk to & dressed untidy. We paid in advance for the rooms that we booked for a family reunion & the manager simply would not let us enjoy our time together. The manager was controlling, rude, unprofessional & dirty.......just awful
