Snowdonia Snug

Ideal location for my itinerary. Well equipped, cosy and had everything I required. Quiet area, no bright lights and slept well. I travelled solo this time, but ideal for couples. Very close to Cader Idris and Mach Loop, two of my main locations to visit.

The snug was cosy and well equipped and the location was perfect

The little town has everything you need. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the summer. The snug is definitely the right name, and it was perfect for a quiet getaway. The bed was very comfortable, and the studio was spotless. I need a shower exactly the same at home 😊.

The hot and cold water tap is back to front in the bathroom, but that is me being picky as everything else was perfect.

Well presented with excellent use of the available space with tasty treats, a great shower and convenient parking (a bonus when staying in the Dolgellau).

The only thing that surprised us, and not in good way, was the noise from the passing traffic in the middle of the night. It was by no means constant but was surprisingly frequent and invariably at high speed the extent it kept us awake waiting for the next vehicle to whizz by.

The location and character of The Snug were lovely. The host was thoughtful and friendly.

It was a great little place to stay

The only thing missing is an oven, but we did enjoy eating out
