Casa Violeta

Relaxed atmosphere with super nice staff. The welcome of Marvin from the reception was amazing! Thank you for explaining everything thing in detail and being so attentive!

There was an awful smell of sewage around the property, and especially in our bathroom. Our room was also very damp as well as loud due to the noise from the generator. We couldn’t sleep at all and when we complained after the first night we were told we could move room, but to one without air conditioning. When we requested for some of our money to be refunded after a terrible experience we were refused. The sewage smell was so bad around the hotel that I actually vomited whilst waiting for our taxi. The whole experience could have been made better if the staff were at all apologetic or had tried to make up for the issues but they simply did not care. It’s a shame as we stayed here in 2015 and had a totally different experience but now we definitely would not go back.

The location is fantastic. Right on the beach. Restaurant is excellent. The ceviche should not be missed.

I got electrocuted trying to plug in the charger for my phone. Had some small things stolen.

Property was very pretty, on the water and walking distance to all the restaurants/shops. Carlos and Mario were so kind at the reception desk. Staff was very nice! I would recommend and plan to visit again.

It was gorgeous, the water was clear and warm. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and restaurant. The food was wonderful and the waiters and waitress became our friends. Truly a perfect vacation!

My fiancé and I really enjoyed everything about Casa Violeta, the food, our room, the staff, literally everything was amazing! We cannot wait to return and stay with them again, we are seriously obsessed with this place.
