"The most comfortable stay in our Hebridean adventure."

This was simply the best guest house we've stayed in. From the moment we pulled into the carpark our hosts Jane and Dave gave us the most wonderful welcome. After insisting on helping with the luggage, they proceeded to provide us with tea and homemade biscuits while helping us with our plans to explore Harris over the days ahead. Throughout our stay they continued to extend every courtesy and friendship - even providing a seafood platter at zero notice so we could watch the Open Golf rather than heading out for dinner ! Breakfasts were great, the room was really spacious and comfortable and the location was fantastic. We'll definitely be back !

"Like home from home - only so much more!"

Excellent location. Very tranquil and great base for travelling around. Jane and David are wonderful hosts, kind, friendly and knowledgeable. Their home is beautiful and all rooms feel like part of that home rather than guest rooms. The special touches are too numerous to mention, but include a different compliment whisky carafe every day, pillow spray to aid sleep, luxurious toiletries, and a restful guest lounge with a variety of different drinks and an honesty box. The breakfast offers so much variety and is all delicious, from the amazing kippers to the locally sourced eggs. My stay was an absolute delight from start to finish. The best I have stayed in for a very long time. Thank you!

The location was good, the rooms were excellent. The comfiest bed we had on our 5 places to stay holiday

Being told to come to a meeting on arrival after being up since 6am and driving for 10hrs, we just wanted a sleep. We would gladly have filled out breakfast sheet straight away if needed, but we knew where we wanted to go and didn't necessarily need the info given. Perhaps that should be a choice it felt a little forced upon us. No white bread at breakfast. Homemade brown maybe OK for some but there is no waste in having a white loaf in a freezer which can be defrosted at point of order.
