The Horseshoe Country Inn

Staff members were well informed friendly and respectful The Showfield house , our accommodation, felt newly decorated and exceptionally clean , bed very comfortable lots of comfortable pillows and the geography of Levisham meant no light pollution !

If the weather was bad the walk to the pub would ruin your hair!! But if you weren’t partaking of alcohol you’d be fine ie you could drive and leave your car

There is nothing not to like.

This inn is a hidden gem with rooms above the pub and some in the garden rooms behind the inn . This time we stayed in the Showfield rooms a separate house only 2 mins down the road which has 4 rooms of outstanding quality, room 21 is fantastic very comfortable and feels like home but no more than a very short walk you are in the pub . Breakfast was outstanding fresh cooked to order with all local produce what more do you need we stayed for 3 nights which gave us a nice mini break.
