Columbus Marriott

The staff treated me like I was a Queen. They were exceptional…The restaurant stayed open late with late night menu which hit the spot after getting in off the road. I traveled alone, but felt safe and comfy!

I was blown away by the professionalism and hospitality of Melissa, Teyana, and Makayla at checkin. I checked out of a Marriott property in Atlanta and traveled to Columbus with my husband for a family event. Immediately this experience was a stark contrast from the Atlanta property. Checkin was seamless, lots of great information was given, and most of all we felt valued as customers. Our room was very clean. The floors were actually drying from being mopped and there was a faint, temporary bleach smell which I appreciated. I was greeted by the housekeeping staff because they literally just finished cleaning the room and they too were very professional and pleasant. The offerings in the M Club Lounge rivaled major cities. The location is walking distance to the Riverwalk and restaurants. I would come back to Columbus just to stay at this property.

The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially the ladies at the front desk, Tate, Melisa, and Teyana. The overnight front desk gentleman (unfortunately I didn’t get his name) went beyond to help me navigate my floor. I had an enjoyable stay and would stay again.

Melisa provided excellent service. She was kind, courteous, and very helpful during my stay. Melisa made me feel welcomed.

The air conditioner in our room (101) could only cool down to 75 degrees after running all night long. The air conditioning system in the restaurant was also not cooling much and the bottom of the pool had multiple large spots without paint. Additonally, eventhough we had reserved a room with two beds several months before, they over sold and could only offer us a King Size bed with with a rollaway bed for four adults. Finally the manager bumped another customer from their two bed reservation and gave it to us.

The restaurant was poor. Margarita was too sour was sent back and exchange for a glass of wine. The shrimp salad that I ordered the shrimp was spoiled and the breakfast selection was not much better, bacon over cooked and greasy

Beautiful hotel. Comfortable, clean updated room. Great to have a restaurant located in the hotel.
