Plaka Beach Resort

Great location, good food at the restaurant, wonderful staff

Our room was smaller than expected and just outside the main complex

We loved that the beach was accessible from the resort and there were free sunbeds on the grass. There were many tavernas around and it was easy for us to reach many other places. Staff was impeccable, so helpful and smiley .

The air conditioning in our room was pretty harsh, we couldn't raise the temperature above 25°, so it was pretty cold in the night. We tried to sleep with the windows open but it was too hot. Maybe a few extra kitchen utensils could be added, like a bottle opener or a wooden spoon.

+ The accomodation was close to the beach + restaurants/supermarket. + On the beach you could choose whether you want to rest on the sandy part or the green (grass) area. + The beach section was clean and well maintained with own restaurant, toilet, showers and drink bar. + The room was clean and the air-conditioner was cooling properly, trash and towels were changed daily.

- The soundproofing of the room was weak. Our room was facing directly to the street, we could clearly hear the traffic + upstairs neighbours moving chairs. - The green area of beach was full with wasps (probably due to morning watering of the grass), in case of allergy it is recommended not to choose it. - The breakfast was basically the same every day with some slight changes. Every portion included 1 egg (in different forms), 1 slice of cheese and ham. I was missing sausage/bacon, there could have been more meat and less carbs. - Wi-Fi was unstable, some days it worked, some days it did not.

It’s a great location and the staff is great. We will be back again.

Everything was perfect

Wonderful hotel with lovely staff and amazing beach. The food was also delicious, proper traditional and yummy. Great room with every day cleaning.

The only negative was that we were on the top floor and there was no elevator, which meant we had to carry baby and pram separately which was quite tiring doing it a few times a day.

The half board was so great, delicious food everytime. The staff was so helpful and kind we loved it. The beach was amazing, so chill and relaxing. Everything was close enough. It is perfect for a relaxing holiday. The accomodation was great, there was towel change everyday and cleaning in every third day.

Perfect location near many beautiful beaches, delicious greek cuisine, clean comfortable room and very kind and lovely Plaka beach team. To sum up, it was amazing holiday, absolutely recommended!!!

Just the beach is good, but you can access the beach even if you don’t stay there and also you will probably still have to walk the same amount even if you don’t stay at this property. As the photos show as in your rooms are right next to the beach however it’s not the case. Your rooms will be atleast 50 meters from the beach.

The stuff are extremely rude and even the housekeeping didn’t clean the rooms. It’s a family owned hotel and I don’t think they should call it a resort. It’s very basic and not worth the money. I would recommend looking into other options such as koukis hotel as that is much better and value for money.
