Plaka Beach Resort

Aus Sicht einer Familie (5 10 Jahre), gutes Frühstück, familiäre Atmosphäre, sandiger Strand mit seichtem Wasser. Snackbar mit smooth jazz Musik welcher um 20 Uhr schliesst, gutes Restaurant mit typisch griechischen Gerichten welches um 22Uhr schliesst. Tägliche Reinigung, im Vergleich zu anderen Ständen und Resorts war es auf dieser Insel ein Top Treffer. Für Ende 2023 sind umfassende Sanierungsarbeiten geplant.

Nagyon kedves, segítőkész, barátságos személyzet, és tulajdonosok. Kifejezetten szép, ápolt és karbantartott tengerpart, és hozzá tartozó partszakasz, mindig frissen vágott, gyönyörű fűvel, szuper homokkal. Finom ételek, változatos, kontinentális reggeli. Ár/érték arányban 5csillagos hely. Csendes, nyugodt elhelyezkedés. Egyetlen hiányérzetünk a medence miatt volt, mert az nincs, de kárpótoltak érte a fentiek! Ajánlott hely!

Sand beach and sea

Don’t rely on the photos, save your holiday. Be aware that this is a hostel/pension 2 minutes far from the beach. This is not a beach resort hotel because you have to pay extra for the sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach 10-15€ (differs from the line!). If you ask about this to the owner, if you are a guest of the facility, the answer is “Of course you will for that because i am paying to the state for the beach!”. (?) So you don’t have any privilege upon “outsider guests” or the day trippers who are not the guest of the pension, but the sunbeds on grass are free for everyone, including the rudeness and covetousness of the owner. Such that, the taxi fare from the airport to the hotel is 35€, the hotel asked us for 60€. ​There are many taxis out front of the airport so don’t waste money. Let’s mention about rooms, which are definitely different than the photos, unless you are booking the studios or suites! Shower tray was stained and we never step on barefoot. After arrival we had AC problem 3 times! Finally they fixed it somehow. The kettle was not working and they changed it after 2 days. Breakfast is below even average in such country, where is a feta cheese and olive fount.. We tried the breakfast two times and desist from it because never worth to wake up. The guy at the restaurant tried to kick us out by mentioning that we were sitting in a restaurant, while we were waiting out taxi to leave, after check out. Completely non-professional facility. This was the uniquely bad experience for us as experinced travellers. We have been many time in Greece and we came here with the same excitement but never seen such practices even in low cost travellers hostels. Forget about what you have seen on the photos a few minutes ago and save your peace.

Perfect beach, great location. Beach 1 minute walk from the apartment. Very friendly staff. Great restaurant, out of all the restaurants visited in Zakynthos the food from Plaka beach's restaurant was the best.

The bed in the room was not great, have to pay each day to use beds at the beach
