Hilton Anchorage

Facilities were old, toilet, barely worked and air conditioner was extremely loud and kept us up all night.

The remodeling work was a Great surprise.

About 10 minutes from the airport, a handful of restaurants within walking distance

The floor under the air conditioner was wet for about 4 feet from the wall. No one came to check it. The shampoo and body wash was empty when I got in the shower, i got out to call front desk to bring some and the phone wouldnt work. Then I called using my cell phone and no one never answered for over 20 minutes of calling. I was told to park on the street or i could paek in the garage for $25. The street was lined with bars and the key card wouldnt open the garage gate. 2 trips inside from up the street to get parked. Very hard to get in and out of the hotel.

One of the most dated hotels I’ve ever stayed in. It seems that they have done nothing to keep the rooms up-to-date.

Location! 5 min walk to train station, downtown shops, convention center, and restaurants.

Were given wrong size room upon arrival, and room had some cleaning issues. Front desk promptly switched our room to correct king size. She mentioned it had a view, but it was a view of the neighboring wall. They also did not show a 2 night stay, until I showed them my paperwork from booking.com.

It’s okay. The new lobby is nice but the rest of the hotel is old and tired. You expect a bit more from a Hilton.

Comfortable, lots of restaurants nearby. Staff was nice. I wish I would have asked for a room with a view because it has a side with an awesome view. Restaurant was good. Breakfast was too expensive. Train station was close so it was convenient. Close to excursion pick up.

AC did not work. Scaffolding outside of window would not allow window to open. Requested service several times and reported to front desk several times without problem even being checked. Coffee area wet from over spilled coffee with wet sugar packs left and dry(who knows how long since it was even checked) spilled coffee under tray not cleaned up. Luggage guys standing around not acknowledging or helping guests. For $400 per night I expected better service. Come on Hilton - you should do better!
