Bathroom didn’t look like it had been cleaned since the last guest! Tub/shower unit had hair and soap scum in, and around it, as well as dirt, dust, hair on the outside of the tub. Same deal on the top of the toilet…gross! Also, tub and sink drains were slow to drain. I really don’t like giving a review like this, since we had stayed here very recently, and our room at that time was excellent!

We’ve stayed here in the past, and love it! Quaint, and beautiful house. The woodwork, and vintage fixtures are stunning! Homemade breakfast is perfect!! I highly recommend staying here if you’re in the St. Mary’s, PA area!

"The Best B&B "

Very nice and historic B&B in the heart of Pennsylvania’s Elk Country. Rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The owner is very personable and helpful in advising you on where to eat and places to visit. Would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful Historic house within St. Mary's just one block from the main street; much wooden interior details; personal attention by owner; large rooms for a house over 100 years old. Tight parking spaces - don't bring a long vehicle/RV before asking about!

Excellent just, Richard! Loved the house! The wooden staircase and library were beautiful and original which dated back to 1897. The bed was very comfortable and the room very “homey” feel! Would highly recommend if you’re in the St. Mary’s or benzette area. We plan to stay again next year!
