Loved MBR! Was here for a conference and it was the best little resort! Food was great, room was great! Jessica at Covewood was such a gem. Katie was awesome concierge. Everyone here was so kind and attentive to detail. Will definitely be back here!

KUDOS AND BIG THANKS TO: Meredith and Noah (Covewood hosts), Jorge M. and Roy (Covewood servers) and Christian and Yenny (Housekeeping) We enjoyed our three days at The San Diego Mission Bay Resort. My wife ran the San Diego Bay and Beach Half Marathon; its start is a short walk from SDMBR. The boardwalk is approximately 3 miles long, perfect for jogging, biking and walking. Our room was clean, quiet, reasonably priced and had a view of the bay. The atmosphere is relaxed. Both the staff and guests were friendly. We look forward to our next visit.

"Lovely place for family vacation"

Food was excellent (except for the ham & cheese quiche which tasted like it came in a cardboard box from Walmart).

Restaurant's suggested tips, 20% and more, are figured on the total -- including the TAX. I don't appreciate that.

Excellent location, close to the city center and easy to visit nearby smaller ocean-side towns. The entire resort is family-friendly but not "'all about kids", it's a good balance and excellent choice for inter-generational groups. The studio room was fantastic! 2 queen beds, a lounge sofa/chair, and a very nice kitchenette--which really helped with our food budget to be able to make breakfast/lunch/snacks instead of eating out every single meal. We will be back next year, it was a perfect spring break family resort.
