St Helens Coastal Resort by Away Resorts

Great location, very quiet and peaceful.

Our caravan didn't have a veranda.

No reception open when I arrived but was sorted out

The location was pretty nice walks in the area, it felt safe and very quiet in the area. Perfect for older couples and adults. Not many kids around but it was term time. We didn’t have much contact with staff which was fine as it made check in so easy seamless and smooth. The hot tub was lovely and warm and bubbly and a good space in the living room to relax with my friends.

It wasn’t a luxury accommodation. Upon entering the property it did smell quite strongly of dog and this smell didn’t really go away. There was no handwash or oil. The smell put me off my room at night sometimes. The shower was so so so hot it burnt us and we couldn’t get excited to have a nice shower it was a chore. The outdoor pool was drained so we could not use it which is a total shame as the weather was perfect for it and we had no prior warning of this. The photos showed a completely different property to ours with an ocean view, blue bedding and a flat screen tv in the master bedroom? Which was never there haha

A beautiful, quiet, well-maintained site with well-appointed caravans.

The outdoor pool was being repaired while we were staying - although Reception issued us with passes to use Whitecliff Bay's facilities instead.
