"Overall a nice experience"

We really enjoyed the hotel and will come again However we upgraded our room to pool side and the pool was under repair no water yet. We were not informed if this when we were offered the upgrade. The front desk did give us a voicher fir breakfast to make up for it but would not change us to a balcony room instead as we requested

Hotel is in a great spot! Easily walkable to River St. Air conditioning worked great, a must for Savannah. Clean rooms with friendly and attentive staff.

Good experience. Wish my room had a working hair dryer. Also some room literature to help our stay would have been nice…the typical stuff like where to find amenities, how to get on wifi, whether water/cookies in room are complementary…

"Great spot in historic Savannah."

It was a lovely hotel over all. Great location. Wish there were more luxuries in the room, such as an extra arm chair, and a small refrigerator.

"Best anniversary trip ever!"

We went to Savannah for our 10 year anniversary and every staff member we encountered at the desoto was exceptional! I’m not sure what’s wrong with the people who left those bad reviews (most likely elderly entitlement) but the desoto made our anniversary so special.

"Unhappy with our stay"

My husband and I were very disappointed with our stay there. I purposely booked your hotel because of the pool and it was closed and the outside chairs not even set up. I also paid extra for a balcony that you couldn't even sit on. The room was in need of a makeover. Also the price for parking was a bit extreme. We will definitely not be staying there again. This was our 3rd trip to savannah. Our previous hotels were excellent.
