Everything nice clean nice view

Clean room and nice amenities. Free water and fruit every AM avail on floor. Staff was great and food an beverage service was very good...a bit expensive but top notch. Good location. also.

Great stay at the Glass Light Hotel. This was our first stay at the Glass Light Hotel in Norfolk, Virginia. Great location, easy walk to plenty of museums, dining + drinks, etc. Staff was excellent, rooms are big and well pointed with large walk-in showers. Highly recommend!!!!

The room was very clean — i.e. bathrooms, bedding, plush towels, etc. However, my room was facing the parking garage and I did not feel comfortable and returned to the front desk. At the front, there was a lovely young lady who was very friendly. I must say, she made my stay extra special. I wrote her name down, but I cannot find the paper. I felt she understood my concern. She was so caring and very professional. She changed my room. I felt very comfortable telling her about my discomfort, as I know that Marriott Hotels has a reputation — they aim to satisfy their guests. I used the hotel’s self parking. My only concern there was that there was no parking attendant, and the elevator was initially out of service — but it was fixed in a timely manner. The hotel’s central location is nearby restaurants and shops. During my stay I told my daughters, who decided to get a rooms and one of my daughters told her best friend who also had a room! The lobby area is ver inviting and relaxing. The food served in the onsite restaurant is exceptional — fresh and tasty.

The sink didn’t drain well, the doors got stuck occasionally and the king-size bed seemed more like a queen. But these are minor quibbles. The hotel is beautiful, and our stay was very comfy and enjoyable.

Some front desk staff lacking professionalism, borderline aggressive, others very cordial. No body wash during my stay (was told it was “back ordered”

There were 2 elevators that had a tremble when going down each time I needed to use them

The property was well maintained, decor was beautiful, and everyone for the most part was inviting. It was only one person at the front desk later that night that was not inviting. Upon entering after coming from Blue Moon Taphouse, walk through the main door and not once did she acknowledge me with a hello how are you. Outside of that I would return
