I liked the general theme of the hotel and the staff was very friendly.

The hotel seems as if it were once a unique top notch destination, but is now getting old and tired. One example is that this this is a window literally themed for glass, yet most of the windows in the rooms and main areas were so dirty they were hard to see through, A hotel named the "Glass Light" ought have someone on continuous window rotation. The windows, quite frankly were dirty of any hotel, especially this one. The furniture was also kinda worn and dirty. The wallpaper was peeling in my room some above the door. It was just a lot of little things like that. There was no big standout thing like big chunks of wallpaper torn away or broken furniture.

It was very close to our destination.. A very clean hotel.

That only one elevator to the garage was working. They didn’t have shuttle service to the cruise docks.

Lovely boutique hotel close to the waterfront and Nauticus. Friendly, helpful staff. Parking was a bit tricky as it was in a garage behind the hotel and we weren't given that information. Our room was quite spacious looking out to the Elizabeth River and the USS Missouri.
