Old Victory House Homestay

The breakfast was excelent, the location was quite noisey especialy with the window open (i visited in summer)

The room was fantastic. Warm, with a comfy bed, and basic facilities.

Sadly, I had several issues. The fridge had containers of rotten food which stank out the entire kitchen. (It was, however, quickly remedied.) The electric kettles were so grotty that I couldn't use the hot water- it was full of floating lime-scale. The microwave was also filthy. There were no tea towels for washing up. It felt like this little guest-house had been forgotten, in preference for the sister-hotel: The Keppel's Head. Shame, as it is an amazing location at a great price. Up at the The Keppel's Head (where you check in and whete breakfast is also served) the staff were lovely, the breakfast was fantastic, and the historical setting/decor was beautiful. I will stay there next time!

Perfect location for a night out in Gun Wharf

Bed was a little short for me. But okay

Cleanliness. All that was needed for a night's stay was provided.

Difficulty of parking. The need to walk to tha Keppels Head to check in and for breakfast.
