DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta Windy Hill Ballpark

Although it is an older hotel, it has been maintained well. Everything was neat and clean and it did feel like a luxury hotel. Our room was perfect! The hotel was in a great location with easy parking. It was a great experience overall and we would definitely stay here again.

I travel for work and am always looking for great hotels at reasonable rates. I was a bit hesitant at first as this location is just below 4 stars based on other reviews. I couldn't have been happier that I decided to stay here. I was pleasantly greeted every time I walked in the front door! The lobby is massive with plenty of places to sit, a fireplace, work areas and tables, a bar, and the breakfast area was excellent. The breakfast buffet included a massive spread of prepared foods, fruit, pastries, and a chef-maned omelet station. I suffer from a food allergy, which often complicates things. Eric, the chef who was manning the omelet station, took the time to go back and check the ingredients for every item I was interested in. After he finished and updated me, his Manager, Forrest, looked even further. Forrest and I had a great conversation about allergies as he too suffers from one. I felt completely safe eating there, and everything looked and tasted great! The room had everything I needed, quality HVAC, and total blackout curtains. The bed and pillows were amazing, and I slept like a baby. I experienced absolutely no noise issues during my stay. The property was clean and well-maintained, and I had zero concern about the safety of my vehicle.

Great stay. I get up early, before staff in kitchen. The gentleman at the counter each morning went out of his way to get the coffee stared and bring me a cup. Many thanks to him.

The stay was nice. We were set to arrive 1 hour earlier then check in so we called to make sure it was okay and the person at guest services was rude and actually hung up on my wife. But other than that it was good.

We stayed here for the night to attend a Braves game. The shuttle driver, Melvin, was wonderful. He went above and beyond for my elderly parents while we were there.

Awesome, front desk staff is amazing

I have always thought of Hilton as providing excellence, in facilities, and with customer service. When I checked into my room, there were clean towels in the bathroom, but the vanity had brown spills over it and the soap dish, which had clean soap in it, was wet. The shelf above the sink appeared dirty. I went to the desk to request some antibacterial wipes so the I might wipe it down myself, as it looked pretty disgusting. I did tell the employee at the front desk why I was requesting the wipes. He did not appear concerned, and did not apologize. He said he did not have any antibacterial wipes, and would ask Housekeeping to bring me some. I waited in my room about 30 minutes, but no one came. When I returned to my room about 1 1/2 hours later, the sink had not been cleaned. Housekeeping never came. I dined at the restaurant downstairs. I was informed at that time that there was no alcohol being served, as they were requesting a license. This had not been posted on there website when I booked. The food was decent. The waitress did offer to let me choose a TV show, since I was the only customer in the restaurant. When I paid my bill, I asked if she could provide me with an antibacterial wipe, if she had one available. She did check, but stated that they did not have any in the kitchen, which was a little concerning as well. I did tell her why I requested the wipes, but she did not offer to find anyone to assist. Lastly, I received a text from a customer service representative at the Double Tree, letting me know that they were there if I needed anything. I texted her back that I have a few concerns. I never heard back from her.
