Residence Inn by Marriott Virginia Beach Town Center

The atmosphere was very sterile -- everything was brown and white with absolutely no artwork in our room. The breakfast was fine, but the kitchen help never interacted with the guests. No smile or good morning or anything. The front desk was great -- very friendly and helpful. The toilet ran all night keeping up awake; however, as soon as someone was available in the morning, it was repaired. I would not stay here again as I prefer an uplifting ambiance! Residence Inns have always been my favorite. What a shame!

My two daughters and their families live in Virginia Beach and we go down quite a bit to visit them, on our most recent trip to celebrate my grandson's 3rd birthday, we stayed once again at the Residence Inn by Marriott. This has become our go to hotel when we visit Virginia Beach. The hotel is well maintained, the staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and clean. The location is very convenient with proximity to numerous dining and entertainment venues. We look forward to future visits and stays at this great hotel.

The breakfast was one of the best that I've experienced

Booking had my room listed as a 2 queen..but when I arrived the room was a one king with a pull out couch..the hotel was sold out but it wasn't their fault as the booking app had the room lised as something else...It was very uncomfortable for adults to lay on a pull out couch with a mattress that was a inch thick..next time I will not be using the app

Easy check-in, clean, good location.

The room was comfortable, free parking. But this is another case where Marriott does not take housekeeping serious. No housekeeping during my entire stay. They just blow it off when you tell them and offer to replace your towels. Also, no coffee or water or any other refreshments in the lobby or public space. These are common amenities that this hotel fails to provide. When you ask about coffee, they've obviously gotten this question hundreds of times because they say, then look down, not outside of breakfast hours. Marriott service continues to be inconsistent across the brand.
