Hampton Inn Richmond-West Innsbrook

Mr. Chris was so hopeful and educated us on all the hotel information . He has a great spirit . Ms Demetria was so warm seeing us off and checking us out ensuring our stay was wonderful . Great staff !

This Hampton should be your last resort if you can't find anything else in the Richmond area. We paid Hampton Inn rates (we are Hilton Honor members) and the hotel is like the cheapest looking hotel we have ever seen. (1) The Pool - obviously this time of year the pool is not used but it should still be clean and attractive. Instead it was green and scum or something floating all over the water! That was the view from our room (224). (2) Coffee in lobby was cold. I didn't complain because I was going to heat it in the microwave in the room. Nope! The microwave was broken. When I mentioned it to the lady at the desk (long red hair) she took my cup of coffee in the kitchen area and warmed it. She never commented on the broken microwave in our room. (3) The creamer in coffee area was empty the next morning. I showed it to two ladies sitting at the desk and commented that was empty. They BOTH looked at me and turned back to their conversation. I though perhaps they didn't speak English. I would consider employees at this Hampton very miserable and unhappy. (4) The wallpaper in our bathroom was pealing off the wall. And the sink in the bathroom was not a cabinet but a stand alone sink.

Only the breakfast managed by the young lady there. She kept it stocked and cleaned.

The entryway wasn’t presentable, pool was nasty green, still valentine vase in the lobby area. The room was not presentable. The bottom material covering was ratty as if animals had scratched them. The outlets in the room didn’t work.

I had booked a king room & it wasn't available so they put in a double which was ok but not what I wanted.

I had requested that I don’t eat pork.

The staff was friendly but that was best part and breakfast was ok.

It was only overnight but hotel was under construction, there was tape on walls, the light wss out in elevator so didn't feel safe! The room AC was shaking bed, so couldn't use it and the shower head was broken coming out of wall.
