Good location for walking around Wilmington and touring Cape Fear. Large hotel, well maintained, very accommodating and friendly staff.

There was no ocean view in our supposed.Historic view was obstructed by a filthy window with film coming off all over it.And you could barely make out what was on the other side.It was disgusting. There was a large wedding and a conference going on.So I understand the staff being shorthanded ice machine on the ninth floor was not working.So you had to go down to the fourth floor not very convenient.Very disappointedThe amount of money we spent to stay here

Hotel was a little musty smelling in hallways and room - surprised is rated 5 star. There is no refrigerator, microwave or coffee in the room. Breakfast is not included. In hindsight I’d stay at one of the chain hotels downtown for less money and get more for the money. Great location and view - worth that for one night. But not longer.

Great location, price was ridiculous for what they offered: They own the property including the p/lot ($22 per day). Why bother charging when you own the p/lot with gates reserved for guests? P/lot card did not work. Ironing board had no pad. Sink faucet was 2 inches from drain, silly design. Old dated furniture, dry wall chipping in bathroom. Expensive restaurant. Do yourself a favor get an Airbnb and enjoy the restaurants in the city. You can do sooooo much better than this spot.

Nice hotel, great view from river side, and friendly staff.

Property is dated and room smelt very musty. Staff was super nice.
