"Great hotel, nice location"

Really nice dining area. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Really nice lobby with high stone wall and a gas fire and sofas. I love that you can open the balcony door, I had lovely fresh air in the room. Thanks for a nice stay.

There was no detergent in the dispenser in the laundry room.

"Trip was so so"

Loved the lobby area with the fireplace.

The fact that they charged me for a night I didn’t stay. We had to leave early due to an emergency situation. We checked out early after already being rear ended the night before. If they had to charge me, it should have been for the first night, which was staged when I reserved, instead of the second night which was the most expensive!

"It was nice but the rooms could use some upgrades."

First, almost all the staff was wonderful. There was one that I will share more about in the dislike section. The lobby and fireplace was beautiful. The coffee bar was really nice.

Our room's shower was gross. The water didn't drain and you end up standing in water. The balcony railing was very loose and felt unsafe. We didn't like that the rooms weren't automatically cleaned. The F&B manager (Chris Casteel) was rude and condescending when we asked him to address something.

"Ok, but property needs attention."

The staff was outstanding! Super friendly and attentive. Location was central to our activities. Atmosphere in the lobby was great. Outside the lobby/main building (basically where all the rooms are) was drab and dated. The room was a basic hotel room...it was clean. Value was so/so - peak leaf weekend so everything was high. 350/night was not a good value. My biggest concern was the fire pit and fire place. These features were not functioning properly and pose a fire hazard and danger in my opinion.

The hallways smelled moldy and needs to be updated. My room overlooked a parking lot and I requested a room overlooking the back property. I thought I was paying extra for that option. My room also needed to be updated.
