Crowne Plaza Resort Asheville by IHG

I have a senior dog, and the ground floor room was amazing, with a sliding door to easily take him out for potty breaks. The size of the room was adequate, but it was poorly lit in the entry/dressing area. Overall the room could have used some updating, but the lobby was gorgeous and newly renovated it seems. The grounds were sprawling - lots of grassy areas and trails to walk. The hotel is also in the perfect location for exploring all of AVL, particularly West Asheville. The bed was super comfy, the hotel was quiet, and I slept really well.

lighting in the entryway/dressing area of the room was very, very dim!

I was here for the ACMA Conference. We were served breakfast Friday morning and it was excellent

The ACMA Conference was located in 2 different locations at the hotel. The one location was a short walk which was fine but it consisted of a steep elevation. One of the nurses did fall. No serious injuries but the walkway may need steps.

All staff was nice and helpful. I liked access to 3 pools. In case one was too busy.

The temperature throughout the facility was pretty warm outside the rooms. Out patio door was really hard to close. Overall pretty good stay. I didnt like the exit from the hotel from and to the hwy.

Great location. The lobby is so beautifully designed You can seat by the huge fireplace, or on any of the many available comfy chairs and couches and feel like you are sitting in your own fancy log cabin The bar offers a good variety of dishes. You can enjoy a quick meal at the bar, or a great dinner in the beautiful restaurant. The view from the dining room is fantastic! The staff is always friendly and helpful

I wish I was given a room with a view of the mountains, not facing the back wall of the restaurant

Very good value. Also the fact that they accept big dogs are a big plus. Large area for dogs to walk around.
