The hotel is indisputably gorgeous, very new-looking and tastefully decorated. My room, a junior suite, was very pleasant, with bathtub and separate shower, a big bed featuring four large pillows, a living room, a small separate bathroom and a great view. The executive lounge was very good. The breakfast selection was naturally not as broad as that of the restaurant, but it wasn't just a token offering by any means, with multiple hot dishes and enough cold items to consider the difference not terribly significant. What I didn't like was breakfast in the restaurant. Even though I was there shortly after 07:00, it was already quite crowded, and the crowdedness was no accident, because a lot of the seating area was unavailable. Meaning those guests present in the restaurant were kept closer together than they would have been had the entire area been accessible. My seat was particularly unpleasant, with the next table to my immediate left, while to my right staff stood around watching....and chatting loudly, which was not terribly professional and which I could have done without. As for the food, the selection was mostly pretty standard. The non-standard dishes were clearly meant to appeal to the East Asian contingent of guests, and included vegetable gyozas (a bit dry and generally uninspiring) and miso soup (lukewarm, absolutely tasteless and without the option of added tofu). I also couldn't find the water (the servers only offer orange juice and coffee) and wound up drinking the tap water in my room afterwards. Then there's the gym. For a hotel of this size and putative quality, it could be better. No way to do chinups, rows, leg press, leg curls or many other simple exercises. No barbell or Smith machine. No area to do calisthenics/stretching. What there is (namely a bunch of weightlifting machines, a half dozen cardio devices and dumbbells up to 30kg) is packed in one relatively small area. It's adequate and indeed more than what a lot of hotels have, but like I said, it could be better. Finally, I was assured I would get the invoice by email. It never came, requiring an effort on my part. It should just be automatic! Or failing that, I should be able to go into my Hhonors account and download it, just like with Hyatt. But no - Hilton would rather make it difficult.

We are Hilton Honor Members and frequently stay in it's hotels. The Budapest Hilton has one of the most amazing locations. Sitting majestically on the Bud side and surrounded by history in a UNESCO protected site. Overlooking the River Danube and Hungarian Parliament. Amidst The Fisherman's Bastion, the Matthias Church and Buda Castle complex zone. It is a perfect location for amazing photographs and tourist experiences. We arrived very late and our check in was quick and efficient. All of our questions were answered quickly and pleasantly by the front desk reception. Of note, the two young men manning the taxi station were our go to for all travel and transport issues. From booking Bolt taxis to downloading the Budapest Go transport card. They were knowledgeable, patient and kind to us. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable with public transport. Kudos!!! Our king superior room was on the 6th floor with a picturesque view of the church in all it's splendour. Amazing roof tiles and delicate turrets. The room was luxuriously appointed with a king bed, fine lines and plenty of pillows. The bathroom was lovingly appointed with high end products , fluffy white towels and a large shower. The breakfast buffet was divine. Custom made omelettes or fried eggs, breads and cheeses and so many hot dishes I can't recall them. Plus coffee, tea, fresh orange juice, smoothies and more. An Asian area, European area and everything else. Even gluten free breads and pastry! No one went away hungry. The staff were working hard to keep the establishment clean and fresh. FYI 8:30am appears to be a popular time for breakfast dining. If you want to miss the crowds, adjust your meal hour. The location as described above, was the best. We walked out of the hotel in the early morning and late evening for virtually empty moments on the Fisherman's Terrace. The area around the hotel was very quiet and safe. The restaurants around the hotel are few but Jamie Oliver's was great as was the small Chimney cake proprietor just past the Beergarden. Yummy!!! In regards to the Hilton Hotel Building...it was uniquely integrated into the ruins of a 13th-century Dominican monastery and St. Nicholas Church. One can view the old arches and columns from the lounge. Plus there are limestone cave like structures below and a secret wine cellar. Hunt them down. Yes, the Hilton Budapest was delightful and reasonably priced for it's luxuriousness!

Tesise girer girmez bizimle ilgilenen yaşlı resepsiyon görevlisi sanki bize garezi var gibi davrandı.Ne sorduysak cevaplamak istemedi.Otele giriş 15 ti ama bize 16.15 te oda verdiler.4 odaydık ve geçiş güzergahında seçtiğimiz hızlı tatilimizi mahfetti.Ben öyle olduğunu düşünüyorum 4 oda da birbirimize ve asansöre en uzak oda vererek bize karşı birşeyler ispatlamaya çalıştılar.Aracımızı kapı önündeki boşluğa koydurdu vale çıkarken otopark ücreti için otelin otoparkından faydalanıcağımızı girişte söylemiştik ona rağmen 50 € otel otoparkı ücreti yerine 70 € ödemek zorunda bıraktılar.Bir çok farklı şehirde Hilton da konakladım ama en kötüsü buydu
